Finally time to test the 455 Pontiac LeMans? National Trails Here We Come!

We all want to know what the answer is with this 455 Pontiac powered 1970 Pontiac LeMans, just what time of times does it put down at the track? With the much improved power levels and rev range, what does that translate into in 1/4 mile times? Or 1/8th? Or just in general? What are the issues to overcome to make it faster and better? What will break first? It's been YEARS since I've had a chance to get myself down a drag strip, something I used to do pretty often. With business booming and schedules more and more complicated by the week it just hasn't been a priority, well enough is enough I grabbed my helmet after work and jumped in the 70 LeMans to head out to National Trails to see what she will do. Our good friend Bill of The Old Man's Garage was also out testing his Malibu so what better opportunity right? Yeahhhh so... things didn't go exactly as hoped. BUT, it's a step in the right direction right? As long as we're moving forward that's what counts?
