They caused general mayhem and sabotaged the missile launch against Balamb Garden. When they were found out, they fought the base commander and armed the base's self-destruct. However, they had to fight the BGH251F2 when they were trying to escape. We'll have to wait to see what became of Selphie's team. We then rejoined Squall's team as they returned to Balamb Garden. Since time is of the essence, Squall and company reexplored the town of Balamb. They visited the Queen of Cards and set Balamb's Trade Rule to All.
