Goons of a certain Garden Master were hunting for Cid, and this had provoked a sort of civil war. The party ran around the first floor and eliminated some of the monsters that the Garden Faculty had set loose. Afterwards, they met Xu on floor 2F. She took them to meet Cid so they could tell him about Galbadia's missile attack. After some convincing, Cid assigned the party to find some old controls hidden on the MD Level of the Garden. The party explored the poorly maintained MD Level and defeated the Oilboyles near the end.
