To make charging effortless, your Mustang Mach-E comes with two charging cables: one for recharging at home, and one for recharging in public. A Universal Charge Cable is supplied with your Mustang Mach-E. It comes with swappable adaptors so that you can plug into both domestic and industrial sockets. To recharge your Mustang Mach-E, fully unwind the charging cable and connect the appropriate plug to the In-Cable Control Box. Then plug one end of the cable into a socket and the other into your vehicle’s charge port. We recommend a certified electrician inspects the socket before using it to recharge. Your Mustang Mach-E will also come with a charging cable for use at AC public charging stations. AC charging stations are significantly faster than charging from a domestic socket. Not all AC public charging stations will have their own built-in cables. To connect this cable, plug the female end into the charging station before connecting to your vehicle. The fastest way to recharge your Mustang Mach-E is at a high-power DC public charging station. These charging stations have a special built-in DC charging cable. To connect your vehicle to a DC charging station, open your charging port and pull down the DC charge port cover, then plug in the cable. Charging times at high power DC charging stations will vary depending on the connection, power of the charger, model of Mustang Mach-E, and other factors. Some public charging stations can charge from 10–80% in as little as 38 minutes*.
