Paint and Review: Mantic's Ratkin Infantry [How I Paint Things]

The Ratkin from Mantic Games are some seriously interesting miniatures. With both hand weapons and spears on the plastic sprue and a handful of resin pistol-wielding arms in the Ratkin Warband set, there's a few ways you can assemble these miniatures very quickly. The sculpts have plenty of detail but are designed to go together with a minimum of fuss, and there isn't a lot of flash or mould lines to be worried about during assembly. All in all, they're a pretty cool kit! Batch painting them in groups of five or ten at a time will cut down on the amount of time spent on a unit, and lets you quickly swap through a handful of colours to mix up a unit's appearance and give them a real haphazard look. https://www.manticgames.com/games/kin... Keep an eye out for the big boys in the kit when I paint the Nightmares and the War Chief! Thanks again to Mantic for sending along some very cool toys! 00:00 - Intro 00:35 - Checking Out the Miniatures 03:20 - Batch Painting 16:38 - The Finished Group Shot Thanks to Producer level Patrons Alan Nuttall, Kyrie Crawford, Trainboy, Fred, and Jimmy - as well as all the other Patrons that made this video possible, and Exit23 Games for recording equipment that helps keep the channel ticking over!
