TITLE: Turning Images into Knowledge: from Histopathology to Multimodal Spatial Biology ABSTRACT: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly employed in tissue investigation, including Clinical Pathology. While AI tools play a significant role, it is essential to acknowledge that their development relies on human intelligence. This presentation explores strategies for informing and optimizing AI in the interpretation of digital pathology and multiplex data sets. The discussion also delves into leveraging AI for precise quantitative data extraction. Additionally, post-analysis exploration is facilitated through interactive plotting tools, enabling deeper observation and hypothesis generation. The integration of multimodal data sets, encompassing Imaging, Transcriptomics, and MALDI-TOF, via whole tissue co-registration, facilitates a comprehensive examination of spatial biology parameters, including proteins, genes, and metabolics.
