During their match-up on February 15, 2020, Murray State's Lex Mayes hits a three pointer in the first half and proceeds to point to her teammate, Macey Turley, who gave her the assist. Mayes is then given a technical foul for pointing. Head Coach Rechelle Turner is upset and questions what the technical was for, and proceeds to pick up one of her own for entering the court. She then picks up a second after she is restrained by assistants while she is speaking with a separate official about the technicals, and is ejected from the game due to two technical fouls called on her.
