This past Saturday, Murray State Women's Basketball took on Morehead State at home. During the first half, Macey Turley passes to Lex Mayes, who buries a three point shot. She was promptly given a technical foul for entering the court. Turner turns around to go back to her assistants and talk it out, while also conversing with a separate official, seemingly politely, to protest the technical on her Mayes. An official then gives her a second technical, and Turner now has to make the long walk to the locker room that she has never experienced in her 24 years as a coach. From the time the first technical foul was given to Mayes, to the third technical foul given to Coach Turner, thirty seconds transpired in total. At that time, Assistant Coach Amber Guffey took over coaching duties. The Racers won the match 83-75.
