Here it is, the Blue Bomber himself! He plays just like you'd expect Mega Man to, including his super low jump height. He has the highest amount of skins that change his gameplay but a lot of them just make him unable to slide/use his Charge Shot. You can see these messing me up in the run. The main interesting ones are Cut Man, whose attacks pierce through objects and enemies and Fire Man, who deals more damage and is immune to Fire Bars. You could change to those accordingly. Mega Man has the most power-ups out of any character in the game, but I'm not going to talk about most of them because they're not very practical. One of the reasons they aren't because you swap between them in order instead from a menu and that's pretty annoying. He's always equipped with Rush Coil by default, which makes up for his bad jump height. It's outright required for some jumps. (AS YOU'LL SEE) Metal Blades reign supreme as always due to their low cost and being able to shoot in eight directions, and the Hard Knuckle deals lots of damage and is special in that it can damage Bullet Bills and Buzzy Beetles, but its slow startup makes it very inconvenient for that. And picking up brick blocks with Super Arm is just funny. Compared to the Samus run, there's a lot of more choking in the midgame while the late game is smoother, resulting in a slightly faster run.
