Snakehead Fishing With the Viper V2 (EPIC Action)

It seems as if the snakehead bite is finally starting to come back to life here in Delaware. After about a month of very tough fishing due to the snakeheads pairing up, we are starting to see some snakeheads break out of their funk and begin to aggressively hit lures again. In this snakehead fishing adventure, I went out to one of my favorite Delaware snakehead fishing spots with high hopes that I could catch a few on topwater. I started the day out by throwing some of my confidence baits like the snakehead outlawz venom frog. However, I had a hard time turning the bites I got on that into landed fish, so I tried a new lure that I had never used before: The Snakehead Outlawz Viper V2! The Viper V2 thoroughly impressed me on this outing. I was looking for a lure that would coax noncommittal snakeheads into biting, and this one did exactly that for me. The Viper V2 has two willow leaf blades on the back of the mouse style body, and those blades give a more subtle action on the top of the water column. I am excited to have a new confidence bait in my snakehead fishing arsenal for when the bite gets tough! If y'all want to check out the snakehead outlawz viper v2, you can get them at this link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/294217804646... IMPORTANT NOTE: While Snakeheads are a non-native species, biologists have discovered over the last few years that the damage they cause to the ecosystem is not nearly what was once expected. Many bodies of water containing these fish have successfully adapted to their presence. I encourage you to thoroughly research the data that is out their regarding snakeheads before you make an uninformed comment saying that we should have killed the fish. That being said, everyone is entitled to their opinion regarding these fish. We simply ask that your opinion be formed on actual data and research, not what you heard from a friend or read on facebook. The body of water that we fished already has a healthy population of snakeheads. Killing a few fish would do absolutely nothing in regards to eradicating the species from that body of water. Instead, you'd be wasting the life of a perfectly good gamefish. Here at Orange 22 Fishing, we encourage you to practice catch and release on all species of fish, including snakeheads. We will continue to do so, and we hope you will do the same as well. No matter your opinion on this topic, we do thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel! Tight lines, Dave and Matt
