Ryobi Zero Turn ZT480ex w/ Lithium batteries Bad Charger Port – Modify and install a new EZGO Port # 602529 5/10/2024 I had to replace my Charger Port. When the Port is bad or removed, the mower will not “start”, move, or mow. And of course, difficult to charge. The Ryobi charger port is hard to find, and there are at least two different ports used on the Ryobi 48v mowers. Ryobi Parts apparently does not supply the port any longer. Ideally, I think I need a Ryobi Port # 316265001. But, most of the websites that list the Ryobi port, note that it is discontinued, back-ordered, or unavailable. I did order the only one I could find on Ebay, but it may not come with the plastic housing! And, I also ordered an EZ GO port # 602529 that looked similar to mine, as a backup plan. And it was similar, I guess. With “some” modification, The EZGO port does work great. I needed to modify the plastic mounting plate and transfer one connector from the old port (solder two wires). 5/13/2024 update: The Ryobi Port # 316265001 did arrive today. It is the Ryobi port without phillips screws, and included the integrated mounting plate. It's a perfectly good port, but not the "port" pictured in the listing. It also didn't come in a Ryobi/Homelite box, so I can't be sure if the p/n matches the part.
