IT'S SPOOKY SEASON WHICH MEANS MY FAVORITE COVERS ARE COMING. Well not really, I'm proud of all the works I do and Bury The Light wasn't a spooky season video, but I just love my 2 October covers every year lol. I'm a Halloween guy for sure. So I figured with the Silent Hill 2 remake dropping last week, it would be the perfect time to do a Silent Hill cover! Fun fact, I played about 15 minutes of Homecoming, and all of Silent Hill 2, and that is it. None of the others. Not the OG, not Downpour, nothing. Just 2 really cause I don't count the 15 minutes of Homecoming. Maybe someday i'll get around to the collection, and I don't have a PS5 to play the remake, and don't feel like playing it on my PC, so I supppose it'll be a while til I get to the remake. But anyways, what a fun little song, and definitely doesn't sound "horror" or silent hill at all. But hey it's like the SH2 anthem so I went with it, I added little flairs of black metal with the tremolo picking and blast beats here and there, and struggled to write this guitar solo but am really happy with the final result! Our original plan for this video involved the Gazebo in our town as well as full pyramid head cosplay, however I live in Western North Carolina and Hurricane Helene completely uprooted our lives, eliminated power and water to my house for 9 days, has indefinitely put me out of work, ETC ETC. so all things considered i'm really happy with how this whole project came out.
