Pine-Sol has found a place among auto enthusiasts as an outstanding car part cleaner especially for soaking carburetors, and there are a lot of videos showing it being used as a carb dip or to clean other car parts. While I agree Pine-sol is fantastic for cleaning parts I wanted to dive deeper and find out if it was corrosive at all to any of the metals commonly used in carburetors and other car parts so I put together a test on 6 different pieces of metal over 96 hours soaking.
