各位觀眾 Hello TV viewers. 大家平安吉祥 Peace and joy to you all. 今天和各位講法依止 Today I'm going to talk about reliance on the Dharma, 這一句話我覺得非常重要 which I feel is very important. 所以我們信仰佛教的人 We Buddhists would feel that 佛陀真偉大 the Buddha was really great. 他告訴我們 He told us 要自依止、法依止 to rely on oneself and rely on the Dharma 莫異依止 but never rely on things other than the aforementioned. 這個話的意思就說 The statement means that, 自己要皈依自己 we should take refuge in ourselves, 自己要對自己要有信心 and have full confidence in ourselves 你自己要覺得我可以頂天立地 by believing that we can stand on our feet 我可以做一個好人 and become a good man 做一個聖賢 or a sage. 所以過去講 The Chinese work Mencius has a line that goes: 堯何人也 舜何人也 Who is Rao?
