I managed to secure a last minute booking with Tidal Toa to be taken out for a Discover Snorkeling experience at the Shaka's Rock tidal pool. The weather wasn't looking great and the booking was possibly available because people cancelled due to the weather - but I jumped at it because if you gonna get wet might as well dive right in and fully immerse yourself! The little pool, on the surface seems like many other tidal pools, but getting to snorkel and see under the surface opened up a whole new world! The pool is teaming with sea life, including lots of coral, invertebrates like the octopus we saw and many fish species! Definitely one that I will do again and again!
