Details: This is my best ever attempt at this on Bass... That is up from a previous best of 98.1% Accuracy which was also tonight... I focused more on a few songs I want to improve as opposed to just playing once on each and moving through the section like I more often did in the past... Before that attempt my score was sitting at 97.7% Accuracy and prior to that it was My previous best was sitting at 99.5% Accuracy.... Just in the past few weeks I've probably attempted this song at least a dozen times though most were barely into the song restarts... I do that a lot too... Playing along with music like this is the reason I'm learning to do this in the first place... This is my Holy Grail of music... This specific bass player inspired me to pick one up and try... This is why this guy (Marko Hietala) is a Hero to me on Bass guitar. To be honest, I never paid any attention to Bass at all until I saw this guy play one. Eventually, listening to and watching videos of him playing made the pull too strong to ignore and here I am. Even though I've never met the guy and probably never will, I'll always feel an astonishingly high amount of gratitude for what that inspiration has already given to me but it just keeps getting better. I've never actually felt happiness in my entire life that was like this, like playing along with songs like this. There is not anything I can compare to it at all. I've played this song many, many, many times in the past... That's EASILY the best balance I've ever gotten to the sound as well as the closest thing to clean and tidy I've ever played this, No Contest... I still need a lot of work but I"m getting closer and that's happening faster now.
