Details: This is my best ever attempt at this song on Bass... My previous best score was sitting at 97.5% Accuracy... That was my 3rd Full (& Posted) Attempt Ever at this song... My 2nd time playing and posting this song was actually only the 2nd time I had ever even heard this song... The 1st time I heard it was the first time I played it... That was a score of 97.2% Accuracy on the 1st Attempt. Yet another absolutely amazing song by Nightwish... They have a lot of those & that's why they are one of "My 7 Favorite Bands." Playing along with music like this is truly like flying. That bass-line in this song is the reason why this specific bass player inspired me to pick one up and try. This is why this guy (Marko Hietala) is a Hero to me on Bass guitar. To be honest, I never paid any attention to Bass at all until I saw this guy play one. Eventually, listening to and watching videos of him playing made the pull too strong to ignore and here I am. Even though I've never met the guy and probably never will, I'll always feel an astonishingly high amount of gratitude for what that inspiration has already given to me but it just keeps getting better. I've never actually felt happiness in my entire life that was like this, like playing along with songs like this. There is not anything I can compare to it at all. I'm pretty happy with this one even if my timing is not quite perfect at times. The fact that I got this close tells me I'm making leaps and bounds forward and that's all I can ask for. Yes, that face, that's not Angry or Upset or anything of the sort. That's my Concentration Face... Really that's just the Default Setting for My Face if I'm honest... I believe that is referred to as a "Resting B***h Face" and some of us are just Naturals at it... It cannot be helped, that is unfortunate but is also simply fact.
