Today was a special day for our family as we all gathered to support Ailsa in her school’s cross country running competition! The excitement started early as we reached the school by 7:30am to cheer her on. Ailsa’s hard work and dedication truly paid off when she crossed the finish line and won a Bronze medal! We’re so proud of her – congratulations, Ailsa! After the run, we had some errands to run (literally) in Bukit Tengah to send our MPV for repairs. But that didn’t stop us from continuing our family day out! We all hopped into my wife’s car and decided to make the most of it by heading to Chai Leng Park to visit an old favorite – Pelita Nasi Kandar, the original one! This place has been around for over 20 years and has since expanded with branches all over Penang and Kuala Lumpur and even in Indonesia and Australia. Pelita’s food brought back so many memories from when I used to work nearby in Prai. The family enjoyed a hearty meal, and thankfully, the rain cleared up just as we were finishing.
