Every year, workers are at risk of serious and potentially fatal injuries while cable yarding. This video series explains some of the top risks, and outlines the roles everyone plays in a cable yarding operation to help ensure the work is done safely. Safe cable yarding is about staying in the clear and effectively managing the risks. In this series, WorkSafeBC officers explain how yarding work can be done safely when everyone is aware of the risks, plans accordingly, and follows safe work procedures.
