Homemade transcripted guitar cover of "Breeding Thorns" taken from Soilwork's "Sworn to a Great Divide" album (2007) in standard E tuning. 0:00 - intro 0:27 - verse 1 1:01 - chorus 1 1:19 - verse 2 1:48 - chorus 2 2:07 - break 2:25 - solo 3:11 - chorus 3 3:36 - outro About 12 hours of work and countless takes to get this result. The original tuning is probably B, so it sounds less heavy than the original. I also decided to improvise some parts to make the song acceptable for standard tuning. I think it was my most painful recording to date for different reasons: the changing weather, my recording smartphone (that just kept shutting down) and the technical level of the song. I spent most of the time on this one on the rhythm part to get closer to the timing but it's fast and you really need to be steady and precise. The solo in comparison was not a problem. I improved my right hand technic working on this but it's clearly not enough... Don't be surprised, there's a lot of scratches and timing issues.
