It's an effective, no-nonsense design that works very well for camping, survival, bushcraft, etc. It's heavier than necessary which will bother those who like to keep the weight of their equipment down, but the extra heft comes in handy when chopping wood. The small notch above the finger choil makes it very easy to throw sparks with a ferro rod. The handle scales are both nice to look at and very comfortable in the hands. There is very little hand shock even with hard use. The handle is very solidly attached, there are no gaps. Overall remarkable craftsmanship. The edge retention could be better, as it dulled comparatively quickly in my opinion. However, this blade shape is fairly easy to re-sharpen, ideally with a belt grinder to retain the convex edge. Overall it's well worth the price for a well designed, handmade knife like this, considering the material quality and performance. ** Where to get it ** http://www.dfsbladeworks.com/ DFS Bladeworks Youtube channel:    / dropforgedsurvival   On Instagram:   / dfs_bladeworks   ******************************************************************************** My favorite online store for buying swords (worldwide shipping): http://ww4.aitsafe.com/go.htm?go=kult...
