Materials: watercolor paper, watercup, paintbrush, hot glue, hole punch, yarn, scissors Instructions: 1. start with 4 pieces of watercolor paper, make sure your paper is a rectangle shape. Any size will do, just as long as they are rectangle. 2. Decide what colors you want to use for your pinwheel. 3. Paint all 4 sheets of watercolor paper and let dry. 4. Once dry, take one piece of paper and turn over, colored side down, fold in half hamburger style. Open and fold in half hot dog style. 5. Unfold and again, colored side down, longways, fold the edge of the paper to the middle crease. 6. Fold the edge back down, we are making an accordion fold! Flip the paper over and fold again. 7. Fold the paper until you have a small accordion folded paper. Fold in half to look like a fan. 8. Repeat with the other three papers. 9. Start to glue the edges together to begin creating your pinwheel. 10. Glue the rest together, pinching to make sure its adhering together. 11. Glue the middle together a bit more so it stays together. 12. Take your hole punch and some thread, punch a hole in one of the folds and tie! Hang somewhere! *Join us for more LIVE CAP at Home art every Monday through Thursday projects here at 4pm (or on Instagram and YouTube)! *Email us pictures of your project (or any other CAP at Home project) to [email protected] or post a picture in the comments of this video with your name and age for a chance to be featured on our social media pages! #CAP #CAPDetroit #CAPatHome #Detroit #CCSCAPDetroit #CCS #facebooklive #livearttutorials #artactivities #artistorganization #nonprofit #communityarts #communityartspartnerships #ccsdetroit #artathome #youthartists #artforeveryone #youtube #facebook #videos #tutorials #afterschool #todaysartproject #sponsors #CommunityEducationCoalition #GOALDetroit #generalmotors
