No Trailer Brakes Causes Near Collision With 20 Tonne Road Train. Following my car filling with smoke after a new battery was installed, the mechanic disconnected all leads to the battery. This left me with no caravan electric brakes which proved extremely difficult to rapidly slow down as a 20 tonne Road train was cutting me off to prevent a head on collision. The video starts as most of my videos do with a brief on a road trip. This adventure is from Southern Cross to Mount Magnet, WA. A series of calamities over a 24 hour period, put my car and caravan on the back of a tow truck for a 150km trip for repair. Both the car and caravan required re-wiring of the loom and removal and replacement of melted trailer wiring. There are some ways offered in this video on how the same fate can be avoided ,or at least minimised. BTW, if you break down or need work done on your car or caravan, find your way to Seivy's Mount Magnet and you can be sure of a possible quick fix or at least, a quality repair.
