DynamixShield & Arduino Gripper Robot

Please support the DynamixShield Kickstarter: http://ctt.ec/087Uf+ This video shows a wirelessly controlled robot with a gripper arm built using Dynamixel and standard servos, and Bioloid frames. It is controlled with an Arduino Due microcontroller and the new DynamixShield I am building. This is an example video showing the DynamixShield in action. You only need five connections, an off-the-shelf Grove XBee socket, and a custom-built power cable to get the robot running around and picking things up. Wireless communications is done using an XBee Grove socket that talks to an Arbotix Commander joystick. The gripper arm is a RobotGeek arm that uses a standard micro-servo, while the wrist and wheels use networked Dynamixel smart servos.
