Minecraft How to Build a Simple Starter House (Easy Tutorial) Part 1: Foundation

Inspired by Minecraft: How To Build A Survival Starter House Tutorial (#14) by Rizzial    • Minecraft: How To Build A Survival St...   Welcome to Part 1 of our easy tutorial on how to build a simple starter house in Minecraft! In this video, we’ll guide you step-by-step through the process of creating the foundation for your first home. We begin by laying out a 15 by 11 ring of cobblestone, ensuring your house has a sturdy base. Once the layout is complete, we add another layer of cobblestone on top, making the wall 2 blocks tall, providing the perfect height for a secure foundation. Next, we excavate 2 layers of ground within the cobblestone ring to prepare the area for your floor. After clearing the space, we add a solid layer of cobblestone to serve as the floor, giving your home a consistent, durable look from the ground up. The lower part of the wall is then reinforced with cobblestone, ensuring your structure is as strong as it is stylish. With the foundation walls complete, we move on to covering the top of the structure with dark oak planks, adding a touch of warmth and contrast to your build. At the center of the building, we construct a 5-block wide staircase leading up to your soon-to-be home, giving it an inviting entrance. To enhance the stairs, we add a trim of spruce planks along the edges, blending seamlessly with the dark oak and cobblestone. To provide structural support and visual interest, we place oak columns at each corner of the foundation, each standing 4 blocks tall. Between the columns and staircase, we incorporate upside-down spruce stairs, which not only add a unique design element but also serve as the perfect base for the spruce fences we place on top. These details give your starter house a polished, well-crafted appearance, setting the stage for the next steps in the building process. Stay tuned for the upcoming videos where we will continue to build upon this foundation, transforming it into a cozy and functional home that you’ll be proud to call your own in Minecraft!
