North Yorkshire Moors Railway - Steam Gala 2024

A selection of shots filmed on the 1 in 49 gradient between Grosmont and Goathland at the NYMR Steam Gala on the Saturday and Sunday of the event, held between 26th. and 29th.September 2024. Visiting engines were Westcountry Class No.34028 'Eddystone' from the Swanage Railway and 4953 'Pitchford Hall' from the Epping and Ongar Railway with recently arrived S160 No.2253 'Omaha' also making an appearance, unfortunately not solo in my video. 9F No.92134 was running as former Lickey Banker No.92079. Apologies for the sound issues on the clip of 2392 at Esk Valley, I don't think the microphone was plugged in correctly. The video was originally uploaded on Sunday but there was a fault with playback of the first clip which has now been rectified. This version has an additional 'going away' shot of 4953 and 92134 which wasn't included in the original video. Thanks to all involved with planning and running the Gala
