In this video, we will be able to control Any home appliance that has an IR remote controller, with a very simple circuit using ESP8266, and of course, without writing any code! All we have now, is an IR transmitter LED, connected to GPIO15, and an IR receiver, on GPIO14. To add an IR device in the info file, we add a new device and set its type to IR. and select the transmitter GPIO, and the receiver GPIO. and the device will appear in the app interface, and we are now ready to add our remote controllers. For example, this RGB strip came with an IR remote controller, we want to control it using the IR signals. simply we add a new controller, and select its type, and give it a name. the controller is now added, the next step is assigning the buttons, we activate the buttons assigning mode, and simply record the buttons signals. Now we can control the RGB strip using our smartphone, just like the remote controller. Let's add the TV controller! Now we have two controllers, let's assign the new controller buttons. Now lets control the TV!
