Every year for the month of Ramadan and for Eid we make these delicious cookies, it is tradition I remember when the whole family would get together and make large batches of klechas so much fun and amazing memories........ The dough 4 cups flour 1/4 cup of sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon of yeast 1/2 cup melted butter 1/2 cup of oil 1/2 cup warm water 1/2 cup warm milk Mix everything into a dough let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes : : For the dates filling, I put 1 package of the dates in the microwave for 1 minute just to soften it up a little bit, I added 1 tablespoon of oil, 1/4 cup of coconut and 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds and mix. : : For the coconut filling it was 1 cup of coconut, 1/4 of milk and 1 tablespoons of sugar and mix : : Walnut and pistachio filling it was 1 cup of walnuts, 1/2 cup pistachios and 2 tablespoons of sugar and mix. : : make the klechas then brush them with egg and place it in the oven 350° for 20 to 25 minutes and done ✅.
