TIPRA Motha chief Pradyot Manikya Deb Barma who is in New Delhi for the first meeting of the Tripura accord committee also paid a visit to the program on September 21. Speaking to EastMojo Debmarma Deb Barma said that northeast cuisine and culture has the potential to help the region gain better economy. “People miss out on great food if they miss out on Northeast," Deb Barma added. The four-day event held at New Delhi's Pragati Maidan features participation from over 90 countries, 26 Indian states and Union Territories, and 18 central ministries and allied government bodies.
