The Howling arch and the Pool of Diana are hidden away near each other on the Newnes Plateau, they are pretty easy to get to, there is a well-defined walking track to the Pool of Diana, but no track at all to the Howling Arch. Depending on your vehicle, will dictate how long it takes to walk to either or both, a 4WD will get you to the bottom of a hill where there is parking for 2 cars, then, Pool of Diana is just 15 minutes or so walk into a rugged gorge. The Howling arch is a little longer to get to as there is no track at all, you need to find a spot to cross the creek and then push through the fern and bracken to get to the arch itself. The Pool of Diana has been popular on Insta and has been written up on a few websites and guides, we have been visiting and swimming here well before it became a "spot" on Insta to be seen. We would love to see it stay pristine, so respect the place, leave no rubbish, don't do any damage, don't leave pink tape! There is a small canyon that is above the Pool of Diana and the waterfall that drops into the pool, is the final drop of that canyon, we have a video coming out for that soon.
