Well-known Dutch comedian Wim de Bie, writer ánd co-director of the Simplistisch Verbond, goes completely beserk on The Police's ‘Reggatta de Blanc’: contemporary classy music and food for intellectual thought! The famous and comical Simplistisch Verbond was a response to the zeitgeist of the 1970’s. In the rapidly changing and increasingly complicated society, the reconstruction after the Second World War, it was striving for more simplicity. The Verbond indicated what they did and did not consider important, and what had to be simpler.
