Walrus Audio MAKO M1| Creative Lo-Fi Tremolo Tones | FACE MI Tone Teaser

The Walrus Audio MAKO M1 is a powerful multi-function stereo modulation machine with 6 customized, studio-quality programs: Chorus, Phaser, Tremolo, Vibrato, Rotary, and Filter. Each program has a wealth of options to tune, tweak, customize and then save to one of nine onboard presets. 00:00 Tremolo Type 1: "Classic" (Standard version) 00:21 Tremolo Type 1: "Classic" (LoFi version) 00:40 Tremolo Type 2: "Harmonic" (Standard Version) 00:57 Tremolo Type 2: "Harmonic" (LoFi version) 01:19 Tremolo Type 3: "Pattern" (Standard Version) 01:41 Tremolo Type 3: "Pattern" (LoFi version) TREMOLO "CLASSIC" (Type 1) The tremolo is a classic effect very useful and classy to give some more movement and atmosphere to your solos, chords and arpeggios. In modern music like this arpeggiated chord progression is so important to have the tap tempo to sync tremolo and drums perfectly. When tempo matches it’s a kind of magic because everything seems so polished. Engaging the LoFi parameters, M1 brings you in a totally different world. The Drive is so dusty and tasty and the Space is epic. Adding some Age puts a nice filter to this crunchy chords and gives them the right place in the mix. TREMOLO "HARMONIC" (Type 2) This is a kind of tremolo never hindering your groove. Even in a funk song like this it adds texture and movement without cutting fast notes like a classic tremolo could do. Using the Triangle LFO shape ensures a better match with edgy rhythms. In this contest the LoFi effect is used to make a variation of the groove that could be nice to use in another part of the song. A lot of Age and Noise make the sound so peculiar that it will definitely pop out of the mix. TREMOLO "PATTERN" (Type 3) Pattern tremolo is one of the most powerful and creative tools you can find in the M1. You just have to put down some nice chords and let the various patterns inspire you to write your next song. Experiment with subdivisions and tempo sync to find the right choice. Depth will help you going from subtle vibrato to a groovy chopper. Again LoFi here creates a creative variation, with a nasty pedal-to-the-metal Drive and a lot of Noise you can achieve this unique tone that surely will characterize that section of the song. *** How these sounds were recorded: Guitars: Fender Stratocaster 50th Anniversary, PRS Custom SE 24, Gibson Flying V Recording: Walrus Audio Mako ACS1 Amp/Cabinet Simulator (https://bit.ly/38tmTp4) M-Audio Air 192|14 Interface (96kHz/24bit) *** About us: FACE (https://www.face.be) is a pan European distribution partner of brands like Walrus Audio, Pedaltrain, Beetronics, Carl Martin, Peavey, Blackstar, J.Rockett Audio Design, Radial, Bulldog Music Gear, Ultimate Support and many others.
