The vertical portrait grip HLD-10 is compatible with the OM-1 and OM-1 Mark II whereas Olympus HLD-9 is compatible with the E-M1 mark II and E-M1 mark III. The OM-D E-M1X has a built in vertical battery grip. Each grip has its advantages and disadvantages and slightly different features.
