I'm back for lunch today with two projects using the super cute retro Tune In bundle. It has been sitting in my cabinet waiting for me since May and I finally got the chance to show it! I love it!! "News Flash" is one of the stamps in the bundle, but I did not use it today. However, today's news flash is that WE MADE FAUX VINYL! That was fun!! For both of today's cards, I used the color family Designer Series Paper packs--Neutrals and 2024-26 In Colors. These are great assortments of each of the colors in each family and can be used for so many occasions or as an accent with many different stamps. Card 1--I went neutral with Smoky Slate and Basic Black but added in a pop of color with Real Red. I used Silver Foil Sheets to die cut the TV knobs and the stars. Card 2--Aqua and Black is a classic retro color combination, so I chose Summer Splash for my TV for this one. I used packing tape to make a faux vinyl strip for the card as well as die cuts for the antenna and knobs. Then I covered the TV screen so that is was shiny! Isn't that awesome?!?!?
