Is your mixer shower water COLD ? Here I show how to fit a NEW Thermostatic Shower Cartridge for a Bristan PRISM Mixer shower. Although this is for a Bristan Prism shower, the process is much the same for most Thermostatic valves. (Links to all tools and items used are in the description below) The cartridge featured in this video is PART NUMBER - CART 06734B (Non threaded version) which is suitable for the Bristan PRISM Mixer shower. Part numbers and items will vary depending on the type of mixer shower that you have, so please check to ensure that you purchase the correct shower valve / shower cartridge for your particular shower. This video shows you how to replace the thermostatic cartridge within the mixer shower. This is the part required when your mixer shower fails to provide hot water. This is a common fault but fitting a new thermostatic cartridge / valve will instantly fix the problem.
