Nyonya Ondeh Ondeh 娘惹红薯椰丝球 ===== Ingredients (Approx. 10 pieces) 食材(大约10个) ----- Shredded Coconut - 100g 椰丝 - 100 克 Pandan Leaves - 1 stalk, cut into small slices 香兰叶 - 1 茎, 剪成小片 For Dough 面团材料 ---------------- Sweet Potato - 150g, cut into cubes 红薯 - 150 克, 切成块 Glutinous Rice Flour - 60g 糯米粉 - 60 克 For Filling 馅料材料 ---------------- Palm Sugar (Gula Melaka) - 50g, cut into cubes 椰糖 - 50 克, 切成块 Directions 说明 ----- 1.Prepare a pot of water over medium heat. 用中火准备一锅水。 2.Place the plate of shredded coconut with pandan leaves into the pot, steam with a lid for 5 minutes. 将一盘椰丝和香兰叶放入锅中, 盖上盖子蒸5分钟。 3.Turn off the flame, remove the pandan leaves, set it aside. 熄火,取出香兰叶, 搁置备用。 4.De-skin the sweet potato, cut into cubes. 将红薯去皮, 切成块。 5.Steam it for 20 minutes over medium heat. 用中火蒸20分钟。 6.Turn off the flame, remove the sweet potato. 熄火, 取出红薯。 7.Transfer the steamed sweet potato into a mixing bowl. 将蒸好的红薯转移到搅拌碗中。 8.Mash the sweet potato, add in the glutinous rice flour. 捣烂红薯, 加入糯米粉。 9.Mix and knead them into a dough. If the dough is sticky, you may add some glutinous rice flour to it. 将它们混合并揉成面团。如果面团很粘, 你可以加入一些糯米粉。 10.Divide the dough into small ball shapes (about 20g each). 将面团揉成小球形 (每个约20克)。 11.Flatten the dough by hand, add in the filling, seal it. 用手将面团压扁, 加入馅料, 然后密封。 12.Prepare a pot of water over medium heat. 用中火准备一锅水。 13.Add the small balls into the boiling water, stir them gently. 将小球加入沸水中, 轻轻搅拌。 14.Cook for about 5 minutes. 煮约5分钟。 15.Once the Nyonya Ondeh Ondeh float, turn off the flame. 一旦娘惹红薯球浮起, 熄火。 16.Coat the Nyonya Ondeh Ondeh with shredded coconut. 将娘惹红薯球裹上椰丝。 17.Ready to serve. 即可食用。
