The Southlanders 'The Mole In A Hole' 1958 45 rpm

Never a hit but it was frequently played on Junior Choice on BBC Radio in the 60's to 80's. The Southlanders were a Jamaican/ British band formed in 1950 consisting of Vernon Nesbeth, Frank Mannah, and brothers Harold (Harry) and Allan Wilmot. Harry and Allan were father and uncle respectively of comedian, actor and singer Gary Wilmot. Harry was the deep bass voice for the mole, he died in 1961 of a brain tumour, Gary was just 6 at the time. I have been trying to get a clean 78 rpm copy of this for years, eventually I gave in and got this almost mint 45 rpm copy to tide me over.
