⚠️ Warning: The following video contains spoilers for Amphibia along with a little bit of blood and a scene involving someone getting stabbed (She’s fine don’t worry.) If this makes you uncomfortable, leave now. ⚠️ This animation is about all the betrayals our poor protagonist Anne goes through during the first two seasons of the show. (Well, excluding the Hop Pop one because it didn’t fit very well in my opinion.) It’s finally done. It took 1 year, 3 months and 5 days and it’s finally done. Most of that was caused by procrastination but I finished, it’s done. Seriously though, looking back on when I first started this animation makes it feel like it took way longer than it actually did. I remember just randomly getting the idea for this animation one morning when I had this song stuck in my head, and then I proceeded to storyboard this whole thing within the span of 3 days. You may notice that the style constantly changes throughout, that’s because of this taking a year and me forgetting to do a lot of scenes that I had to go back and do later. This thing could’ve been done a LOT sooner, but I kept finding the tiniest of errors that I felt needed to be fixed, also Amphibia backgrounds are hard to draw. This animation ends with the events of true colors because I storyboarded this in June of last year when season three wasn’t even out yet. (Plus I don’t think the song really fits season three very well) Also this is my longest video thus far, dang. Amphibia is an awesome show by the way, you should go watch it. Credits: All animation/art for this video was made by Lel The Desperado (Me, in case you forgot.) I used Clip Studio Paint for animating and Shotcut to edit it all into the final product. Characters (except the ones I will mention in a bit) belong to Matt Braly/Disney. The background characters at 2:16 belong to Moose Child ANIMATIONVERSE (the two characters at the table) and Myself (The character sitting against the wall) none of them are actually Amphibia OCs, I just wanted to make fanart while still getting this thing done qwq.
