The Dragons Back Walk - Parkhouse Hill, Chrome Hill and High Wheeldon

SUPPORT OUR NATIONAL THREE PEAK CHALLENGE AT www.justgiving/page/headintheclouds Parking up in Earl Sterndale, I headed the short journey past the now closed Quiet Woman pub and over to Parkhouse Hill, no sooner are you up the short, steep climb than you are down the other side. Then immediately after comes the more drawn out climb up to the top of Chrome Hill. It is the other side where you drop off which i known as the Dragons Back due to it's aptly named shape. After the drop off Chrome Hill and the short steep burst just beyond it, it's a nice gentle stroll around to and through Hollinsclough and then it's off in the direction of High Wheeldon, the biggest climb of the day to end with before the short journey back to the starting location in Earl Sterndale.
