How CLIMATE CHANGE actually works: The Science & Impact on Himalayas

Climate Change is potentially the biggest threat we are facing, and in this video I attempt to explain the science behind it, from Blackbody radiation to Energy Balance of earth. From the greenhouse effect to rising carbon emissions, we'll explore the factors driving global warming and their consequences. The video also focuses on the unique impact of climate change on the Himalayan region, where melting glaciers and changing weather patterns threaten ecosystems, water resources, and local communities. We will also see its impact on phenology of Himalayan region. Finally, we’ll discuss practical steps that individuals and governments can take to combat climate change and protect the future of our planet. Joining me are a few experts who immensely helped out with this massive project: Dr. Farooq Azam, Glaciologist and Assistant Professor from IIT Indore, Dr. MPS Bisht, Head, Dept. of Geology, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal, Arif Ansari, Research Scholar, Forestry Dept., Kumaun University, Nainital, and Ravi Martolia, Founder And CEO, Reverclean Energy and a proponent of Geothermal energy. Massive Thankyou to all of them. Also thanks to Climate Trends for their help with resources and data in this video. https://climatetrends.in/ Enjoy!
