WEST PENNINE MOORS WALK FEATURING RIVINGTON PIKE, WINTER HILL AND PIGEON TOWER “Rugged Hill of Rivington” Filmed 17th July 2016 Post-production completed 27th August 2016 I explore Rivington Pike, another part of the West Pennine Moors with a couple of interesting historic towers. My walk takes me to Winter Hill with a huge transmitting station, from where there are wonderful views. However, in order to reach this location my path crosses some very boggy moorland….. Filmed in the West Pennine Moors in the county of Lancashire. Locations include Rivington Hall, Rivington Pike, Winter Hill, Noon Hill, Pigeon Tower and Rivington village. Written, researched, directed, camera and sound, edited and music by Patrick Leach. Any other names credited in this film, i.e. Bob Morgan and Martin Roy, are pseudonyms, which I used at the time of making this film. However, I no longer use these pseudonyms as I want viewers to be clear that my films are completely my own work.
