We have Consumer Price Inflation (CPI) on Wednesday and Producer Price Inflation (PPI) on Thursday. Both events will move markets. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) is sitting on 9-month support ahead of the events. And make no mistake, the VIX also called the fear gauge will have a major effect on Bitcoin and the rest of the crypto market. Bitcoin needs to reclaim $23,000 on a daily closing basis to flip it back to support. It also needs to close above $23,450, which is still serving as resistance for BTC. Until then, expect Bitcoin to remain under pressure.
