What does burning season look like in Chiang Mai, Thailand? There are a few times of the year that Chiang Mai, Thailand has the worst Air Quality Index in the world. This video begins in early February 2023 to early March showing the air quailty in Chiang Mai. We drive up the mountain to see if the air quality gets better or not. FYI the burning season in Thailand typically begins end January/beginning of February until March/April; however, the AQI and burning time varies from year to year.
