💫☁️ [pls open for commentary + software/social/filming info!!] 🌟 hello!!!!! my summer break has officially ended & i’ve accumulated so much backlogged footage. but that means i’ve been resting & going outside this summer instead of editing a lot. this summer has been more stressful than most—nothing academia related but it’s been very heavy. thankfully, there have been so many heartwarming moments spent with wonderful people. this vlog is the first of two(…?) parts that capture the between-stress moments i felt. how i’m currently doing: i’m writing this at midnight after having conversed with a hall-mate about The Dragon Prince for a good hour. Clearly, neither of us wanted to get back to work hahaha. some updates: my uni schedule this semester is….very bare. originally, I enrolled in several courses up to 12 credits in total. But over the course of a week, I sat a few of them and decided two of them were not for me. I then went through a few days of dropping and replacing courses….etc. long story short it was hectic. so right now i have …two courses plus an ungraded Ovid book club that was curated for intellectual stimulation & amusement. But as usual, I can foresee myself stressing out nonetheless. The typhoon this previous weekend was definitely scary. Fortunately, I’m alright and my living spaces haven’t been affected too badly. The city is slowly recovering, there are many places that were damaged and the trees around campus have been ripped from the ground—which I can’t say doesn’t make me sad when I walk around campus. Thank you for any well wishes & dms to check in on me during the typhoon! They were very caring and kind especially during a time of scary uncertainty. On another note, I’ve put up some fairy lights around my bed. A small addition but they make my space less hollow and consequently, warmer (figuratively). if you’re studying, how has your semester started off? any interesting classes/topics? if not, what are you currently up to?
