Singer 431g - The ultimate Vintage Singer Sewing Machine?

The Singer 431g was the final evolution of the 400 series. The 431g boasted the ability to chain stitch and had a removable bed revealing a free arm. Made in Germany from 1964 to 1964, the 431g was capable of not only a zig zag stitch, but a huge array of embroidery stitches using built in cams and additional pattern disks. Added to that, this aluminium, gear driven, rotary hook machine had Singer's slant shank design, to make the stitching point easier to see. Is this the ultimate vintage sewing machine?
