Wireless system for electric violin - Is the Line 6 Relay G10 the best choice in 2018? (Maybe!)

Line 6 Relay G10 REVIEW with the YAMAHA YEV-104 Electric Violin. Also good for guitar, mandolin etc. Hi. This is my first 'real' video so it's probably technically a bit rubbish but what's NOT rubbish is the Line 6 Relay G10 wireless system for guitar, or in my case electric violin. The Yamaha YEV 104, specifically. It cost me $190 in Cambodia, which is about the same as the US. (although the MSRP is $249.99). It is "frequency-agile", meaning it will automatically find the best frequency for each situation and won't clash with other systems. 24-bit digital audio. Things I like about it out of the box: 1) Super easy set up. I plugged I played. Soooo easy. 2) Auto mute on plugging in the transmitter - no speaker ripping booms and bangs 3) Great, clean sound. No interference or scratchy tone 4) Light and portable 5) No antenna Things I will find out later: 1) What's the battery life? They say 8 hours of continuous use, which is a pretty long gig. 2) How does it handle live situations? 3) What's the range? 50 feet or 15 meters is claimed. 4) Is it reliable? It's the easiest the easiest guitar wireless ever that works perfectly for electric violin (the passive sort, anyway). I'll try to answer these over the coming months. STOP PRESS *** Played my first gig with the wireless system last night. Worked great. No problems but I didn't do much "wandering" as the place was packed.
