Offshore fishing in the Outer Banks for Yellowfin Tuna was incredible. We caught so many Tuna and made an amazing Ahi Tuna seared recipe. Captain's Log: We left Pirate's Cove at 4:45am after getting down some cheap 7-11 coffee and proceeded to step onto the nicest boat I've ever been on. Poseidon blessed us with calm seas and fair winds so cruising outta Oregon Inlet was a breeze. We then spent the next 2 hours watching the sun come up and trying not to psych myself into getting sea sick. After watching the depth finder shoot from 150ft to 1,000 ft we stopped and the team hustled to get lines in the water while I filmed my intro and realized I had no idea what is going on and I'm about to make a fool outta myself on Youtube. Within 30minutes I tugged on my first Yellowfin Tuna and they told me it was "small" but felt like an Amberjack or playing tug of war with King Neptune himself. Immediately after before the team had time to set up and for me to realize what was going on we had another hook-up. Today was going to be 'one of those days.' For the rest of the day we filled up the box with more tuna than we knew what to do with- so much we ran outta space and had to head back to land.
