Perry Lemmons Church 704-788-7007 Cell 704-425-1634 E-mail [email protected] "Rightly Dividing Truth from Truth" according to 2 Timothy 2:15 -- God loves you, and wants to forgive you for ALL of the things you have ever done wrong so that you wont end up in a TERRIBLE place called Hell. Check this verse out from the New Testament in the Bible... "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4) -- Hell was not originally created for man, but for the Devil and the Angels in heaven who sinned against God. "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:" (Matthew 25:41) -- "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23) "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the JUDGMENT" (Hebrews 9:27) -- God's forgiveness is a free gift. :) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) -- Even LIARS will go to Hell ... "But the fearful (those that cause fear), and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Revelation 21:8) "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 13:42) -- Hell was not originally created for man, but for the Devil and the Angels in heaven who sinned against God. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) "Christ died for our sin according to the scriptures; and that He was buried,and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (1Corinthians 15:3-4) -- Christ was sinless. He didn't have to die. When He died it was for us!! God made Jesus Christ to be sin for us, who knew no sin; so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21) "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;" (Ephesians 1:7) -- We can never pay the penalty for our sin on our own or through GOOD WORKS!! That's WHY Christ had to die... "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." (Romans 4:5) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) -- If you put your faith in God to save you, but you aren't really sure how to pray and thank him, you can use the prayer below as a guide to help you. Just pray... Dear God, I believe that your Son Jesus Christ paid for all of my sins on the cross by shedding His innocent blood for me, and that He died, was buried, and then rose from the dead to forgive me and give me eternal life as a free gift. Thank you for saving me! In Christ's name I pray. Amen. -- The SIN issue between you and God is now settled... "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1) -- Your SECURE IN CHRIST now that your saved!!... "In whom [Christ] ye also trusted, after that, ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise (14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory...." (Ephesians 1:13) -- "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth NOT the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36)
