I wrote this song in 2004 but didn't record it until 2008. I first recorded a "scratch" acoustic guitar track to a metronome. I then played the drums to this reference track. Next, I added the "keeper" acoustic guitar track followed by the bass. I recorded the vocals and clean electric guitar parts last. Equipment used for the recording: Roland electronic drum kit. 1970's Fender F65 acoustic guitar. 1980's Yamaha BB300 bass. 1990 Gibson ES335 Studio for the clean chords. 1980's Fender 75 with 15" speaker. I drew all the artwork in the video on one A4 sheet of paper with a simple ballpoint pen. After scanning in the sheet of paper, I chopped up the pictures to create the animations.
