It’s so good being back at my work guys! In this video: A large number of White-tailed Deer who’s population is really growing, including multiple Bucks, Does and Fawns, some clips of the Red Foxes, Raccoons, Opossums, Cottontail Rabbits and various Bird Species. Remember the White-tailed Deer that suffered a severe broken rear leg, and died shortly afterwords? Her Fawn, a little Buck… who fortunately was adopted by the Doe’s sister, who had three Fawns of her own. There is some nice clips of little Buck, in some he is seen with his adopted mother and three stepsisters, and he is isolated in other footage. What a wonderful outcome. Nature can often be very cruel, but in this case there a happy ending. I’ve decided to brake my scientific code of conduct and name this young Buck and follow his progress. After four years of studying this property’s wildlife, I just can’t help myself from getting attached.
